Brahmdagh, India Worsening Conditions in Balochistan: Rehman Malik

ISLAMABAD: Interior Advisor Rehman Malik has said Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) is being aided by India and was founded with funding from the Soviet Union.
Prime Minister’s Interior Advisor in his policy statement in Senate said Brahmdagh Bugti and India have been involved in worsening conditions in Balochistan.
Rehman Malik narrated a statement of Brahmdagh Bugti to a private news channel in which he had call help from the United Nations, India and the United States.
He said the complaints of Balochs are soaring and called for steps to redress their complaints.
The Advisor said that all except one case, have been withdrawn against Herbiar and talks were underway with two sons of late Nawab Akbar Bugti to redress their complaints.
Rehman Malik told the Senate that on directives of President Zardari he held a meeting with Herbiar Marri in London to acquaint with his views.
Malik said he will hold an in-camera briefing for wo members from each party on the issue.
