Kanye assault court case delayed

Kanye West will not face charges which followed a fracas with a photographer until May after his case was delayed.

His lawyer was granted a delay to enter his plea on assault, theft and vandalism charges during a brief court hearing in Los Angeles on Monday.
The hip-hop star was arrested at the city's airport days after performing at September's MTV Video Music Awards.
A video shot by the gossip website TMZ appeared to show Mr West, 31, smashing the flash of a photographer's camera.
The rapper, whose road manager was also charged over the 11 September incident, could face two and a half years in jail if convicted.
The video tape also appeared to show road manager Dan Crawley breaking the photographer's camera.
Mr West's attorney, Blair Berk, told the court that Monday was the first time she had been allowed to review the police report.
