KABUL: Afghan President Hamid Karzai reiterated on Tuesday his offer of talks to the Taliban leadership in Afghanistan.In an exclusive interview with Geo news, President Karzai said the Afghan government is willing to hold talks with the Taliban militants who detach themselves with Al- Qaeda. Karzai expressed his concerns over the new Afghan policy unveiled by Obama administration but said it could pay the way for peace in the region.To a question, Afghan President said the US administration should assist his government in country’s human resource development programs. He said his government supported the former US President Bush since he worked for the socio-economic development of Afghanistan.
